Telling Our Families

This weekend we finally got to share the news with some more of our family.  We told our parents, Jeff, and Lee Ann, Uncle Robbie, and Aunt Courtney.  On the way up to Sherman I was like a giddy school girl. I couldn't wait for this to not be a secret any longer.  We got to my parents house and told them we had a funny gift for them before we went to dinner.  Needless to say, I'm pretty sure they weren't expecting this gift to be a baby.  See for yourself. :)

Later that night we had Jeff and Lee Ann come over. We got to talking about books and I asked Lee Ann if she remembered the book I gave her at our rehearsal dinner (What to Expect When You're Expecting...long story). Then I asked if I could have it back.  They too were very thrilled for us.

On Friday afternoon we headed up to Oklahoma to go camping and share the news with Garrett's family.  With so many birthdays falling around that time there were quite a few gifts to open.  We started with Bob and Sue and told them we had a camping gift for them. Again, not quite the gift they were expecting.

We are already so blessed with this baby, but we are also beautifully blessed with amazing family and friends to share this journey with.
