Before leaving for Lubbock I had already decided I was going to share the news with Tyler. I knew it'd be a while before I would see him again and wanted to be able to tell him in person. Since mom and dad were also visiting it made it hard to find time where it was just the two of us. Friday afternoon we met for lunch and I rode back home with Tyler. I kept trying to find the perfect moment but it never seemed right because the truck was constantly moving. I finally decided that right before we turned on his street I would make him stop and then tell him. We started approaching his house then...mom and dad pulled up at exactly the same time. So I told Tyler to drive past them in the cul-de-sac instead he did continuous circles making it really hard to tell him. I then begged him to just drive to the end of the street and finally he did. He got to the end of the street and I shared the news! He was in total shock and I got the same response from him as I did from Garrett, "Really?" After I dried my tears once more we headed back up the street to mom and dad who were still standing in the yard waiting to be let inside. I'm so excited that I got to share our beautiful blessing with my wittle brudda!
Love you and Gar Bear! You will be great parents.
